QUICK TIP TUESDAY | IS YOUR CONCEALER WORKING?
For today’s Quick Tip Tuesday, we are focusing on one of my favorite products, concealer! I think everyone needs a good concealer, whether it be a cream or liquid. Today’s tip is for liquid concealers (ex. NARS Radiant Creamy, Maybelline Age Rewind, MAC Prolongwear, Fenty Pro Filt’r). Let’s get in to it. I hear a lot of complaints regarding concealing that I think can be fixed using today’s tip. Is your concealer not giving you the coverage you desire? Do you feel like to have to add multiple layers for it to even show up? Well, I’m here to help!
Once you apply your concealer, let it sit in place for a couple minutes. Now here’s where you have to know your product. Some concealers dry down so fast that you’ll have to adjust the amount of time you let it sit. I don’t know too many concealers that dry down super-fast, so in my opinion you have at least 60 seconds.
Ideally, let the concealer sit for about 1-3 minutes. This allows the product to begin drying. It also allows it to thicken. Once you allow the time for this process to happen, go ahead and blend it out. You’ll notice a big difference in your coverage AND you’ll use less concealer! So this is a money saving tip as well! Heeeeeeyyyy! We all need a few extra coins in our pockets!
Hopefully you try today’s quick tip. I’m positive it will change your concealer application forever! Please leave a comment below and let me know how it worked for you.
Till next time gorgeous,

I’m supposed to let it sit?? I never knew! Thanks for sharing Sarah!
You’re welcome!!! 🙂
This is a good idea. I use LA girl… not because I love it but because it’s what I have lol. It dries fast though so o find myself rushing to blend it out. Maybe I’ll let it dry and then try like you said. Great tip! I also use NARS but mostly on the weekends lol.
Yup LA Girl dries fast but give it 30 secs first and see what happens. I think you’ll see a difference! NARS can sit for 5 mins and still blend out flawlessly!
