Y’all!  Wet n Wild is coming ALL the way through with their newest foundation and concealer!  It has been a while since I have purchased or used any Wet n Wild products, but the brand is so affordable and easily accessible so I decided to try their latest complexion products!  If you are a fellow beauty enthusiast, then yes, I know I’m a bit late but better late than never!   I’ve read several great reviews on these products and knew I needed to get my hands on them ASAP!  I went to my local Walgreens and purchased the items you see in the photo below.

The highlighter is BOMB, but for the purposes of this post, we will only be discussing the foundation and concealer.  The Photo Focus Foundation is an ABSOLUTE WINNER!  This is coming from ME, the same person who before this only wore ONE other foundation.  Wet n Wild tested both the foundation and concealer under seven different light conditions with top smartphone models to ensure there is no flashback when flash photos are taken. They got it right!  I did not experience any flashback.  The formula is amazing.  It goes on smooth and blends out like a dream with a brush and/or sponge.  It dries down to a natural matte finish.  It does not produce a drying matte finish and gives a very radiant look.  The best part…it stays put ALL day long!  I have also tested this foundation in extreme heat conditions (90+ degrees for 5-6 hours) and it holds up better than my most beloved foundation!  I purchased the foundation in two shades (Caramel and Cocoa) because it DOES oxidize (meaning it gets a bit darker as the day goes along).  I mix both shades so that it oxidizes perfectly to my skin tone.  The coverage is a good medium, but it is buildable.  It looks very natural on the face, not heavy or cakey.  The foundation comes in 20 shades.  For $6, buying multiple shades to fit your skin tone (if necessary) is totally doable!

Now let us move on to my FAVORITE…concealer!  If you read my blog regularly, you know that I am a concealer junkie!  The Photo Focus Concealer is seriously one of the best I have tried!  There are six shades (shown above are shades Medium Tawny, Med/Deep Tan, & Dark Cocoa).  I love the tone, the finish, the longevity, and the price!  It has a thicker consistency, which means more coverage!  The coverage is medium to full.  If you do two layers, you can definitely achieve full coverage.  This concealer blends so effortlessly and dries down to a matte finish.  Once it sets, it will last all day long just like the foundation!  $4 concealer people….$4!!!!  It is well worth the price!

For application, I use a flat top kabuki brush for the foundation and my fingers for the concealer.  I then go over everything with a Beauty Blender to ensure the application is seamless.  My gorgeous friends, I HIGHLY recommend you try both of these products.  Also, if you find you don’t like them (doubt it), most drugstores allow you to return cosmetics.  Please let me know if you decide to give these a try or if you already have, let me know if you love them as much as I do!

Till next time gorgeous,

Sarah Robyn
